In the 90s he created and managed the largest IRCnet server in Germany, and co-managed one of the largest anonymous FTP server ftp.cs. in the world. He graduated in 1999 from the Technical University of Berlin with a Diplom-Informatiker degree (equivalent to a master’s degree in Computer Science). Oswald, was one of the original co-founders of Apache Friends. There are currently distributions for Windows, Linux and OS X. In the case of commercial use, take a look at the product licenses, from XAMPP’s point of view, commercial use is also free. To make it convenient for developers, XAMPP is configured with all features enabled. XAMPP’s goal is to build an easy-to-install distribution for developers to enter the Apache world.
